Hot off the presses an actually good idea from industry on how to take on Global Warming. These are very Big companies stating for perhaps the first time a very long term plan to take on Global Warming.
"In a letter to the Prime Minister, the heads of Alcan, Bombardier, Shell Canada, Falconbridge, Home Depot Canada and Desjardins Group, among others, said Canada needs a 50-year strategy to deal with the fallout from climate change."
They go farther.....and they don't ripe apart Koyto
"The world must act urgently to stabilize the accumulation of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and minimize the global impacts of climate change."
Wow.....strong words from huge companies.
More below the fold.

Now what I find interesting about this is maybe they see something coming in the world....I have a feeling that industry is getting there 50 year plan in ahead of something more aggressive by the Canadian Governemnt.
However, they must be thanked for recognizing the dangers of global warming and they must be thanked for offing there opinion in such a big gesture.
"As corporate leaders representing a broad cross-section of the Canadian economy, we believe that all governments, corporations, consumers and citizens have responsibilities under the Kyoto protocol,"
Good for them.....perhaps you should send this letter to some US companies and ask there opinion.
