Looks like our buddy Bulldog is smarter than we thought. John over at Americablog
reports that JeffJim has kept a journal and is planning speaking engagements:
"I have probably one page for each day at the White House, about 200 pages of stuff," said Guckert. "Is it all interesting? Probably not. But it could be [a book]. I haven't thought that far ahead."
"It is likely that I will start making some appearances and speaking," he said, declinig to name specific efforts he has taken in that regard. "There are people who are definitely interested in some of my behind-the-scenes work in the press room."
Much of the lefty reaction has been, "Oh what a narcissitic fool!" But I think it's much more sinister. More below the fold.
I think this is a smart move. "There are people who are
definitely interested in some of my
behind-the-scenes work in the press room."
Imagine him saying that with a smug grin locking eyes across a room with Karl Rove, as if to say, "Hey, Monkey, I hold the cards. I blew someone to get into the White House, and you know that, and here you are hanging me out to dry. You arrogant bastard. Bring me back into the fold -- a ticket to the White House Correspondents Dinner is a good place to start -- or I'm going to write that fucking book. Oh, and while you're up, bring me a soda, bitch."
Gannon's gonna either be at the Correspondent's Dinner at the White House or the other one, you know, at the bottom of the Potomac.
