Have you donated to a candidate yet? (Poll)

I'm curious about how we Kossacks are supporting our candidates at this point. For myself I will say that the person I really want decided not to run. The next person has not fully declared intent, so I am supporting my 3rd choice. I have actually given a small donation to the campaign of my 3rd choice with more to follow as the races play out.

With that in mind, how is everyone else supporting their candidates at this point?

  $400 to John Edwards.  Two $25 donations, a $100 donation, and today a $250 after watching the speech.  I guess that tells you my level of committment.

    If he does not run, I'm really undecided on who I will support. Like certain aspect of several candidates and don't like other aspects. So far, only Feingold and Gore have excited me.

  It just seems too early to donate to one person only, and as a college student, I only have enough money to donate to one person. It'll be May 08 before I graduate, so I may pull in some money from a job during the summer, but most will probably go to paying for grad or law school. So lack of money is a major issue in my poll answer.

  Once all the players are in the running and we know who the choices are, then I'll start donating, though I'll probably be blogging about my choice much sooner.

•  When Hillary announced recently, all the talk of

  her huge war chest and ability to raise enormous amounts of money motivated me to donate $25 to Obama.  I was not planning on starting to donate this early.  I may also donate to Edwards and Clark down the road.

  I'll donate next year.  This year, all the orphaned cats, homeless dogs, unloved cheetahs, etc., that I neglected last year will get my donations,  along with  the leukemia society (my mom has it), Middle Eastern Children's Alliance, Send-a-Kid-to-Camp, Children's Hospital, and paralyzed veterans.

  my view.  While I want my candidate to win, I knwo they are all good (even  .... even... hard .. to .. say .. it .. HRC).

  Russ Feingold took himself out of the race, and none of the others appeal to me. I'll eventually have to choose the one best-positioned to slow down the Hillary Freight Train.

  After the last two (presidential) elections, I wouldn't waste my time voting.  Much less my money.  

  But, if you are going to invest in the winner follow Rupert Murdoch's dollars and contribute to Hillary (first democrat that has received donations from the media mogul-AND-Rupert's candidates have never lost).  Plus even Tom DeLay said that Hillary will be President and she'll ask Obama to be her VP.  

  Think about it, Americans do want change. A woman president and a black vice president...nothing more different than that.
