Tom Fox is
missing.
Three of the 4 Christain Peacemakers held hostage since November 26(!) have appeared on a video tape, but Tom Fox is missing. He's not seen on the tapes.
Tom Fox has been missing from our media for months.
Not to slight those concerned about journalist Jill Carroll, but all hostages deserve our attention.
Why is Tom's situation (and that of all hostages) not being pressed in the media?
Because he's a devoted Christian? Or a devoted Christian of the wrong sect?
Why is Tom Fox missing - from the tape, and from our attention?
about Christian Peacemakers -
Christian Peacemaker Teams have been working in Iraq since October 2002, investigating allegations of abuse against Iraqi detainees by American and Iraqi forces. Its teams host human rights conferences in conflict zones, promoting peaceful solutions.

Formed by Mennonites, Brethren, and Quakers in 1984, CPT says its ministry is "to devote the same discipline and self-sacrifice to nonviolent peacemaking that armies devote to war." It trains international teams to support local peacemaking efforts.
100 days. Missing.
Could it possibly be that Christian Peacemakers simply has the 'wrong' agenda? Is this what the wrong agenda sounds like?
'We are here to take part in the creation of the Peaceable Realm of God. How we take part in the creation of this realm is to love God with all our heart, our mind, and our strength, and to love our neighbors and enemies as we love God and ourselves.'
Tom wrote that just days before he left for Iraq. He understood the risk, and deeply understood that he had to go. This is called bearing witness. Bearing witness is the most brave, honest, clear action an individual can do. It comes from a deep place in one's heart. The place that connects to all of life. All true heroes bear witness.
A Quaker involved in youth programming, Mr. Fox is a father of two and a musician. He went to Iraq in 2004, colleagues say, as a man who believes "there is that of God in every person."
