That's right! Judge Moore of the Ten Commandments. He has a solid conservative base and credentials and it will be hard to run to the right of him. It will certainly keep the Repukes busy by not demonizing him but at the same time whispering that he has some degenerative neurological disease. We should Nader the Republicans in 08. The way its shaping up, neither party has a compelling candidate to put up. Repubs: Jeb--says he's not running but probably will be
drafted so it doesn't look hereditary; Frist--please, he's fried; McCain--the neocons will never let him thru the primaries. The Dems: Hillary--why would we hand the Repubs the White House on the platter
again? Kerry--burned his best chance; Edwards--maybe if he can be compelling; Clark--my man but he's got to start making some noise.
So the way I see it 2008 will be similar to 1968: the incumbent is not running and damaged, we're in an unpopular war, social order seems to be breaking down--this time will be the rapid decline of American economic power with the marginalization of the American wage earner into corporate servitude.
What I propose is we make Judge Moore our George Wallace and maybe, Gore will get the White House this time
