NYTimes Select FREE for students (anyone w/ ".edu" email)

Just sign up at the above link and you'll get access to New York Times Select service (the bad idea of making people pay for access to Op-Ed pieces along with some other content that's hardly worth it).  

Basically any student or staff with a university ".edu" address can sign up.  I'm a graduate student and it worked fine.

      As long as they can send you the confirmation email to an edu address so you can click the "confirm" link, you should be good to go.

      (You can also sign up for Student Universe travel discounts that way, too.)

          ...and considered Berkeley as it seems truly wonderful and is obviously located in a wonderful area, but didn't feel like moving to the other coast.

          Glad to hear someone enthusiastic about law school.  Lord knows I need a little positive reinforcement over what remains for me some very mixed feelings.

        They're terrible in terms of fire-risk (especially during a drought), and I think are non-native interlopers in the East Bay, but they give off a wonderful fragrance.

          Whoever decided to plant the female gingkos in the Boalt Hall courtyard made a Bad, Bad Decision.  The gum (eucalyptus) trees on the UCB campus grounds smelled much nicer on the way to class.
