This just in from the ABC in Australia, reporting on the latest blasts but referring back to yesterday's attack.
Authorities in Iraq are examining a trailer found close to the hotel.
They say a home-made launcher disguised as a power generator fired 20 rockets from the trailer at the hotel, where US Deputy Defence Secretary Paul Wolfowitz was staying.
[..]
US defence officials say some of the rockets failed to explode and a number of other rockets failed to launch from their canisters.
Afterwards a shaken Mr Wolfowitz called the attack a terrorist act that would not deter Americans from completing their mission in Iraq.

"And the big news to me is that Iraqis are fighting and killing those people. They're not standing and fighting. They're hitting and running and that's the characteristic of this attack."
Shaken, yup, that's how he looked and sounded to me, grey actually. And as for the hit and run, someone should tell Pauli that guerillas don't ever stand and fight, they ALWAYS hit and run. That's how guerilla warfare works Paul, always has, always will, yoohoo, anyone home?
The day they stand and fight is the worst possible day you want to see. The day they stand and fight buster, is the day you start sleeping with all your bags packed and a chopper running on the roof. Clear dipshit?
