Comedy knows no limits. Comedy Central, however, is limited to only two shows worth watching (oh, I can see the debate from that last one already). So, without further ado, let's get rolling.
Another week of fun is already almost over, with Jon and Stephen on the downslope of the week. I've been pretty much out of things, so any observations for the week so far might help. What HAS been one of the better moments in either show recently? I mean something that really, really has stood out? Just curious.
Speaking of fence sitting, I am SOOO Glad that my Senator Nelson joined his compadre Senator Martinez, a Cuban IMMIGRANT in voting for that lovely stretch of fence. Thanks Senator Nelson! (Yes, those are my eyes rolling and rolling.)
TDS: Get ready for sparks to fly and Jon to put this "Culture of Life" nutjob in his place. RAMESH PONNURU - National Review editor, author, "The Party of Death!" will try to defend the indefensible. Please Jon, lay into pricks like this, because they need laying in to. Oh, the Wikipedia entry has an interesting exchange between Ponnuru and some interviewer in which he denies "The Party of Death" is only the Democrats. What a backpeddling wanker.
TCR: Jonathan Alter, - virtual non-entity on Wikipedia and author, The Defining Moment: FDR and the First Hundred Days!. I profess completely ignorance of this guy, but then again, I profess ignorance about most things, really.
Sit back and relax. Don't forget to post early and often.
