Tell Mr Wolfowitz to keep saying how the body bags coming home from Iraq are a sign of success. Remember last october they tried this stupid, Orwellian line of "The amount of attacks show that the insurgents are getting more desperate"? They said it then and were laughed out of the park. Wolfowitz is trying it again.
Let me respond with this; if the attacks show the U.S. is succeeding, what would be the greatest success? A civil war? A thousand dead? If a bombing killed a thousand people, would that be time to declare "Mission accomplished" again?
This man is off in his own little world. In his world, the fact that the number of attacks per day on U.S. forces has resumed climbing after seemingly leveling at about 18 after Ramadan is a good thing. We're back up to 23 now. We should celebrate, right? More dead Americans is a good thing in this mans world, because it unites the country or something.
How did a crackpot like this end up Assistant SecDef?
