The latest video clips coming out from the convention center on MSNBC and CNN are truly heartwrenching. Children screaming "give us help". Mothers saying that their infant babys have no water or formula and haven't had for days. One asked quite poignantly, "are you going to just let us die?" Where are the right to lifers right now? Children and the elderly are most at risk for dehydration. I wonder how many children have already died from dehydration.

This is ridiculous. What kind of boondoogle is taking place that they are unable to at least airlift some water and MREs to the Convention Center (at the very least)? The media is doing their best (for once) to make the situation known.
The only thing I know to do is to call my representatives and raise cane. This is inhumane, it is not compassionate and how dare they call themselves Christian. These people need help and they need it now not later. If I don't make those calls, am I not culpable in the deaths and misery of these people also? If anyone knows anyone else to raise hell to, please let me know here.
My biggest problem with the press right now is why aren't they asking where the water and food is...why don't they have a video of the trucks on their way, why don't they have videos of the airlifts on the way. I don't want to hear any talk, I want to see action...
Every afternoon it's the same thing, when the video starts getting bad, hold another dam press conference.
