Rahm Emanuel did what?!?!?!

I, like many of you, can't stomach Rahm Emanuel.  I could spend all day listing reasons for disliking the man.  I just came across something that made my day.  I could be sarcastic and say that it's a sign that the apocalypse is upon us.  Join me over the break to see what the hubub is all about.

I know he may be stating the obvious, but for all the backstabbing he's done to Speaker Pelosi before, I say it's a huge step up for him.  I don't know about you, but it seems that maybe, just maybe, Rahm has found religion.  Has he finally gotten it through his head just how unpopular this President and his war is with the American people?
The way I see it, I think Rahm has finally realized that if the Dems can help end this war, or at the very least, hold Bush's feet close to the fire,  that voters will reward the Dems next year.  I just have to ask Rahm what took him so long.  He can still jump on the train at this late date.  I saw welcome aboard and help Madame Speaker and Majority Leader Reid put an end to King George's madness.

      I like a take no prisoners attitude, I love to win as well, but his "I love to win" attitude translates into "Do what won last time, don't rock the boat, don't do anything rash."

  Rahm the Magnificent wouldn't take such a strong stance on Iraq unless the poll numbers were overwhelmingly against Bush's policy there.

  He's a good person to have on your team when he's actually ON your team. Looks like we got him on our side for this one, but I'm certainly not going to give him a free pass on his past bullshit antics.

  I don't think there is any other congress critter that understands that the current GOP has no interest in any kind of compromise with us. He is one of the strongest fighters we have there.
