Have I missed some diaries on this? I haven't seen any talk about
this here, and we should be very concerned, especially since Vermont has a governor who will do what he is told by his GOP bosses, and since the courts are so important today.
Some people are pushing for Vermont Supreme Court justices to have 6-year term limits, and the fundies are targeting the 2 longest-serving justices specifically because they voted in favor of the groundbreaking decision which led to the creation of civil unions. The legislature will vote on the matter next month. Do you think this will pass?
