My soon-to-be father in law told me a really bad joke today, and I just have to repeat it:
"Since John Paul II was such a great pontiff, it would behoove the Catholic Church to put him in cryogenic freeze until they can revive him.
"He'd be the first Popesicle."

No, seriously, even though I'm an agnostic and despise organized religion, I have to admit that John Paul II had a consistent moral center and stood for many things that were good and right. His was a voice that had to be respected, because he tried hard to be a good human being, and even when you didn't agree with him on something, you believed his sincerity. It was and is an all too rare trait.
