I realize that Kerry isn't the man of the hour here. But I'm sure that most of you will still be disgusted by the NYT's story involving Kerry's anti-war activities.

They mention the photo where he's sitting a few rows behind Fonda. They mention a second photo:
And on Thursday, a new photograph of the senator and the actress began circulating via e-mail. Unlike the image Mr. Sampley bought, which shows Mr. Kerry seated several rows behind Ms. Fonda, this picture - its origins are unclear - shows them side by side, Ms. Fonda behind a microphone and Mr. Kerry, holding a notebook, to her right.
What they apparently didn't take the time to check was that the second photo is FAKE FAKE FAKE, and a BAD FAKE:

Please e-mail Dan Orkent at the New York Times. Perhaps you can show him these links and ask for a retraction. Perhaps you can ask him why his paper is already screwing up. Perhaps you can ask him if his paper has a shred of integrity left.
