Assuming Kerry loses the nomination, what precise moment cost him the race? What mistake did he make that could have been avoided?
Of course, he probably hasn't made that mistake yet. This diary is really just a snotty comment on an earlier diary shoveling dirt on Dean's grave.
A month before the Iowa caucuses, who would have predicted Kerry would be where he is now, and likewise Dean? We're still a month out from Super Tuesday. Dean has prepared himself for a long race, and the inevitable dropout of either or both of Edwards and Clark. Kerry has a month to make a major misstep, which could well happen. If Kerry makes a mistake, and only Dean is around to exploit it, Dean could walk off with this thing and a lot of people will be eating a lot of words.
