Any kossacks not familiar with "Today In Iraq" will probably find a visit quite enlightening:

I'm quoting a comment left on that blog and hoping that if the commentor is correct, we can help spread the word about this broadening of U.S. offenses against humanity. I'd really like to see "Death Squad John" not get away with repeating the kind of atrocities that he helped Reagan perpetrate.
The following comment was attached to "War News for Sunday, May 15, 2005".
All these 'dumped bodies' in groups of 12-14 appearing recently in Baghdad apparently seem to be executed Sunni men belonging to the same family/tribe.
Negroponte's job in Iraq has clearly produced the singular result he was sent there to do.
The 'Salvador Option' death squads have been set up and are now beginning their operations.
I expect to see a lot more executed groups of fathers/sons/brothers, whole families or even whole villages in the future making minor headlines (if at all), just like in El Salvador.
When the Serbs did it, it was called 'ethnic cleansing'. When the USA does it, it's called 'fighting terrorism' or 'bringing freedom'.
What's the consensus here? Is there truth in this comment?
