Poll was conducted Dec. 3-5, before the Gore endorsement. It actually proves encouraging to Dean, Lieberman and Clark, none of which have spent significant time in the state. On the other hand, the two that have -- Kerry and Edwards -- ought to be devastated.
Bush has a clear lead in this border state, though I'll go out on a limb and argue that it should tighten up considerably during the general. And given a VP like Gov. Warner or WV's Jay Rockefeller, we may even have a shot at taking Virginia.
