Ok, I've really had it with the Today Show, Katie Couric and Tim Russert, and HardBall (aka SoftBall). This is war!
More on the flip......
Have you all seen Katie Couric's
interview with Howard Dean yesterday on the Today Show? If you haven't please do.
Well, today the Today Show trots out Tim Russert, of all people to essantially back up Katie's claims. I'm sure Crooks and Liars will have the video later today. Galindo has an excellent diary on this. This whole thing is just getting more ridiculous.
And then we have Chris Matthews and HardBall (aka Softball). Groan. Kos has a great diary on this character this morning.
What is it with MSNBC? Techiechick hit the nail on the head this morning with her post over at Galindo's diary: "NBC is owned by GE, which is a mammoth defense contractor, which means they make more money when we're at war then when we're at peace."
I know the following has been posted in other places, but so you don't have to look it up again:
Phone: 1-212-664-4444 and leave a message for the Today Show AND for Tim Russert.

We can also go and send emails to their advertisers as well. You'll have to watch and see who the advertisers are and then take appropriate action.
My thanks to all the posters who previously posted this contact info.
As for Chris Matthews.........sheesh. MSNBC should be calling his show Softball. He spouts the GOP spin, and then when various conservatives and Goopers come on the show, he lobs softball questions to them. Come on! Show some balls Chris!
A couple of days ago on another diary, some of us were batting around the idea of sending softballs to Chris Matthews with short messages on them, like......the show should be called SoftBall, and other things like that. Nothing obscene or anything. Today I will be sending my softball to Chris Matthews at HardBall.
Send it to:

HardBall

I am also proposing a mass picket of NBC at 30 Rock for February 20, 2006. That is President's Day, and most of you will have a day off. We can meet at a certain time and a certain place and then proceed to 30 Rock with our signs and our voices. I propose that everyone have a spot of orange somewhere on their bodies so we can identify one another.
We have to show them we mean business and that we are not to be taken lightly. Maybe we can also invite some notable people (aka celebs, politicians and the like) to join us as we walk around 30 Rock. I am serious about this. I'll organize this effort. Are you in?
Yeeeaaarrrggghhhhhh!!
