Conservative 'Judicial Watch' sues pro-war 'Freedom Watch'

Tue Sep 18, 2007 at 07:18:22 AM PDT

To quote kos ha ha ha ha [deep breath] ha ha ha ha ha

Apparently the shallow, hopeless pro-war group has drawn fire from Larry Klayman, the head of the conservative Judicial Watch.

In GOP world, money is thicker than the blood of American soldiers.

I would have expected a robbery from O.J. Simpson, but not from all the president's men," Klayman said. "They owe me a hell of a lot of money."

But 'Freedom watch won't have any of it,

Freedom's Watch spokesman Matt David dismissed Klayman's complaint. "It shouldn't surprise anyone that Larry Klayman is filing another lawsuit with absolutely no validity," he said.

ha ha ha ha ha [deep breath] ha ha oh man ha ha ha ha ha

But it gets better, and I'm not making this up

"I've been waiting for them to respond," Klayman said. "They can't wage war correctly, they can't tell the American people the truth about Iraq, and now they're trying to steal a trademark from a fellow conservative and Republican."

ha ha ha ha ha [deep breath, wiping tears] oh man ha ha ha ha ha

But of course, Klayman will stop at nothing to put a stop to this atrocity,

Klayman says he's offended not just by the "theft" of the group's name, but by the fact that "by promoting the war in Iraq, they're using the name not for something that defends freedom, but for something that promotes chaos. I don't want my trademark to be used to promote the Iraq war."

Let me apologize in advance for anybody that spat up laughing from the insane irony of this story, but we have all long come to understand that we just can't predict the infinite ridiculousness of the modern Republican party.

Unfortunately, ever since Bush came into office, the damn thing keeps running backwards.

By the way, I am starting an organization that will monitor the activities of the Bush Administration.  I am calling it "Mickey Mouse Watch."  Details to follow.

From the looks of things, I think you could get a quorum for a group called "I like to watch."  The main reason I don’t want conservatives snooping in my bedroom is that’s where I keep my Bulova watch.

This is silly, but true. You've heard of Fossil watches?  I have a Fossil FUEL watch. It's a $14 watch that I've had for about a year. Stopped working not too long after I purchased it. (What a surprise!)  Voltmeter said the battery was still A-OK. Then I remembered something I once saw my father do years and years ago. His watch had somehow gotten clogged with something. He took off the back and sort of cleaned out the mechanism with a drop or two of GASOLINE, which may have acted as some kind of solvent for whatever was mucking the thing up.

So I took off the back of my $14 watch, added 1 drop of gas, and the timepiece was humming again. Stopped again about 3 months later, so I added another drop of gas, and it's still running.
I figure I must be getting something like 5-billion hpg (hours per gallon).

The one thing that puzzles me down here in Texas is Fossil never came out with a timepiece with a siren that they could call a Tornado Watch.  But that’s just moi.
