Elizabeth Edwards is an inspiration to us all

Elizabeth Edwards is an inspiration to everyone except Ann Coulter.  She has so much good in her and it exudes in her daily interactions with others.  I was fortunate enough to see her again at the Southern Women's Show.  

For anyone wondering, she looked very well and very nice as you will be able to see.  I did a video of her entire speech (about 23 minutes) and placed it on a site other than YouTube so I wouldn't have to split it into segments.  Elizabeth Edwards understands honesty, integrity and dignity.  It is an honor to have met her on several occasions.  I cherish that time.

  No offense, but I am not as big a fan as everyone else appears to be.

  She criticized the MoveOn ad and she appears to be the only one on this site that gets a free pass.

  I have issues with her blaming her husbands poor poll numbers because we "can't make John black, we can't make him a woman."

  She has called Barack Obama "holier than thou."

  She thinks HRC "stole" her husbands health care plan, despite HRC's record of trying to get universal health care for the past 13 years.

  Not everything she does or says is done with honesty, integrity and dignity.  It is all done with the broad purpose of getting her husband elected, which is exactly what it should be doing.  Above all else, John Edwards and his wife are politicians and few people view current politicians as an inspration.

    had every right to run an ad, likewise we each have the right to express our thoughts about it. The ad wasn't all that offensive in my opinion and it was probably the timing that was a little questionable. Seems very much like the Repubs have made it into the "unleashing the caged rabbit" strategy so everyone is chasing that "story" and overlooking the fact that we are caught in the middle of a civil war, that for whatever reason we went to war to begin with, certainly all of thoses goals have been met.  I understand that Mrs. Edwards' father was career military and having said that, I truly believe that she and John Edwards are working each day to try to end the war. It's more than just a campaign. That's my opinion.

  I am very fond of Elizabeth, I think it's so refreshing how she says it like it is. I just got back from L.A. and I was toting my Edwards 2008 bag around. I got some really nice comments from all kinds of people. I love meeting fellow Edwards supporters!
