I suppose that not a lot of faithful Kos readers also have subscriptions to Vogue magazine. One could argue that it is shallow, superficial, and features astonishingly expensive clothing that only super rich people could afford. Well, that's true, but as the Playboy readers say, I only buy it for the articles! ;) Imagine my surprise while reading the February issue, to discover a featured article on Russ Feingold.
More below....
The article, by John Powers, describes Feingold as "the most blogged-about Democrat since Howard Dean," and says his "independent-minded antiwar views are starting to look very right." It also references the "most-visited liberal blog,
Daily Kos, which sings his praises." Daily Kos, I think I've heard of that! <snark>
All in all, a very positive article. Powers mentions Feingold's religion and two divorces as possible negatives in a Presidential race, but doesn't seem to consider them as big factors. The major criticism he brings up is that Feingold is considered a goody-goody in Washington, which in the current climate can only be a huge plus, IMO. He is also described as having vulpine good looks, whatever that means. I don't have a link, unfortunately, because I don't think this story is online. But if you see it on the newsstands (Drew Barrymore on the cover) do give it a look!
