WASHINGTON - Sen. Joseph Biden (D-DE), a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, says it's time for the United States to close its detention center for alleged terrorists at Guantanamo Bay, asserting that controversy over Koran desecration and prisoner treatment there runs the risk of inflaming the terrorist threat against America.
Instead, he said, terrorists could be appeased by converting the Cuba facility into a new "non-forgivable delinquent payor reeducation camp," solely housing Americans who still cannot pay off bankruptcy judgments under the new federal bankruptcy law after the appointed time, allowing them to work off their debts to large corporations by repairing fences or cooking for soldiers.

The Guantanamo camp "has become the greatest propaganda tool that exists for recruiting of terrorists around the world and it is unnecessary to be in that position. I mean, how could they have any propaganda at all if we left Cuba? We only have a small presence in five Arab or Muslim nations," Biden said. "Meanwhile, Guantanamo is sunny and cheerful, ideal for a debtor's prison to rival King's Bench and the Fleet. Have you seen 'A Few Good Men'? Great jogging down there."
The Delaware senator, a famous plagiarist, fabulist and credit-card company shill, known mainly for the muskrat which lives on his head, asked, "What soldier is going to desecrate a Bible or a Tiara, or even a Book of Mormon? I see real potential for a hell of a book club for these deadbeats in Guantanamo--American deadbeats."
