there is fresh speculation, from various right-wing american pundits, that perhaps you've been reading leftist blogs - perhaps even writing on them. this gives me a little different take on the concept of what a "lurker" is. apparently you like to read chomsky, me too. some will use this information to degrade anything mr chomsky has to say. it's an old device, of course. i remember when the communist party endorsed civil rights in the 50s & 60s here in the united states, it was used to tar anyone who fought for equal rights as a communist. i'll let noam speak to you himself.
anyway, if there is a chance that you've been logging on here, let me tell you a thing or two. others here will undoubtedly have a few choice words to pass on.

the main thing is; this terrorism thing has totally gotten in the way of your message. i think i speak for most americans when i say, nothing you have to say registers anymore on any kind of rational level of dialogue. while blowing people & buildings up may have amplified your voice, it has also distorted it beyond all meaning. we just can't see or hear a reasonable human anymore, your visage is clouded by murder. this is too bad because you actually might have had something to say.
you will understand that what i say is true, the image of the united states has to a great degree been degraded as well by the current regime. i fear that our longtime commitment to human rights & freedom has been obscured by  promiscuous use of our military & images of torture. perhaps that was part of your plan?
anyway, we here at dkos are constantly posting exhortations & pleas to various members of our government, mostly they are ignored. if you are reading this, i wish you would consider changing your tactics, the world is tired of the bloodshed & mayhem, tired of using the planet's resources for tracking down & killing each other. reread the qur'an, you've gotten a lot of it wrong.

    is reading "leftist blogs" & is spitting back talking points. i'd just as soon have him posting his rants here & getting responses & perhaps troll ratings. in my opinion a troll rating here would have been exponentially a more positive way of dealing with him than invading iraq.
    make no mistake, i'd be one of the first mr. bin laden would seek to eliminate, right up there with chomsky. if i was professor chomsky, i'd be crafting a long open letter, right about now, to osama detailing our differences. basically my diary was an attempt to do that here.
    osama bin laden should be dealt with as the criminal that he is, the criminality is, to my mind, not in his ideology, but in the murderous tactics he uses to push it.

        This whole meme is another pathetic attempt to link progressive politics with the 'politics' of terrorists. Remember Billo's obsession? it spreads like all their vileness. Add to that the threat we pose to 'journalists' in general, and RW 'journalists' in particular. It's a smear by the RW, nothing new.

        Bin Laden doesn't read dailykos - never will. mobile internet is trackable.
