A shocking story has just broken through the blogosphere: an Obama advertisement appeared on the Drudge Report!
This earth-shattering revelation was first broken by Jake Tapper at Political Punch, but quickly started making its way across the blogosphere.
Does Obama give a damn about us?, asks Jeff Dinelli. The answer is a resounding no! Already under attack for his out-of-context right-wing shilling, this is sure to be the straw that breaks Obama's back.
How Republican can you go to advertise on Drudge?, wonders SusanUnPC. Does Obama even care about the netroots? Marc Ambinder doesn't think so.
Obama's campaign has responded to this shocking revelation, claiming that the ad was "unintentional." But Taylor Marsh doesn't buy that: Drudge and Obama are a perfect primary match, she proclaims. And even though it may seem like the Obama campaign actually wasn't aware of this, their response leavesat least some questions remaining, says Jonathan Singer.
After finally coming to grips that Obama is a traitor to the progressive movement, a thought occurred to me: what if there are others? What if other candidates are advertising on websites diametrically opposed to their claimed ideologies? After all, ads just don't show up randomly places, says a marketing consultant that Jonathan Singer quotes. And then it hit me like a ton of bricks:
Huckabee and Paul advertisements? On MyDD? Why, they're traitors to the conservative movement!
Look, Paul is even advertising on DailyKos! How low will he stoop to try and get people to vote for him???
Ladies and gentlemen, we may be on the verge of an epic crisis. We're on the very brink of the first caucus, and we're uncovering candidates - left and right - that are traitors to their movements! Given these shocking revelations, we must to band together and accomplish three things:
a) First, curse out thank all those who are helping to expose Obama's right-wing zealotry. If it weren't for their tunnel vision diligence, we may have never discovered this. (And if I missed any of these brave heroes, please let me know.)
b) Leave no stone unturned! See if we can find more examples of such traitors, whether democrat or republican.
c) And spread the word! The Iowa caucus is imminent, we need to inform voters before they cast uninformed votes for these malicious marauders!
