To quote peacemom quoting Emma Goldman: "I don't want your revolution if I can't dance to it!"
I'm sorry, I couldn't add a poll to an already published diary and the rules don't allow me to repost a second diary. So I'll have to wait until tomorrow. Arggh, computers!
Disclaimer: I am not connected to the Obama campaign nor even a very political person. I just think their choice of music needs to be more inspiring.
So in the interest of revitalizing the Obama campaign's pedestrian choice of music for their rallies, Kossacks have once again come to the rescue and gladly offered their suggestions for an Obama theme song to fire up both the faithful and unfaithful.
Whichever song wins, the net result is a great playlist for upcoming rallies.
Alas, there will be no paper ballot trail, so you'll have to depend on the DailyKos servers to keep an accurate tally. There will also be no recount, but write in candidates are permitted!
I'll post the results in a few days.

peacemom provided the lyrics for her choices:
"Stand!" by Sly & The Family Stone
Stand! You've been sitting much too long. There's a permanent crease in your right and wrong.
"Everybody Rejoice (Can You Feel A Brand New Day)" from the Wiz
Everybody look around
'Cause there's a reason to rejoice you see
Everybody come out
And let's commence to singing joyfully
Everybody look up
And feel the hope that we've been waiting for
"Wake Up Everybody" by Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes
The world won't get no better if we just let it be
The world won't get no better we gotta change it yeah, just you and me.
