Barack Obama's third cousin is the sister of a preacher whose nephew was once married to someone who passed Minister Farrakhan in the street. So says Richard Cohen.
Hillary Clinton might have put Cohen up to saying that. If she did, Hillary Clinton might be a racist. She might be sexist, too. She might deliberately be doing badly to make women look bad. She might be a Republican plant. This would be to get even for our having planted George W. Bush.
Or she might be working for Farrakhan, who could be--look, I'm just speculating here--working as a double agent for Mitt Romney in order to make McCain look bad, because McCain hasn't said anything. This would be just Farrakhan's cup of tea.
Unfortunately minister Farrakhan's effort has been thwarted by this very blog--Kos having suggested that Michigan Democrats cross the line and vote for Romney in order to increase the cluster-fuck factor. This has tended to benefit Huckabee, who may have paid Kos to do the cluster-fuck thing. I'm not saying there is any evidence to support this, but it is something to think about.
The implications are horrifying--though I don't mean to say they are real. They are horrifying enough without being real. If Huckabee has paid Kos to cluster-fuck the GOP with a Romney push, and that puts Huckabee in front, then since the GOP mainstream hates Huckabee it will splinter the GOP and benefit the Democrats--and since as we've already seen that Barack Obama is a Democrat, and that he is in bed with Farrakhan, it means that Kos could be scheming to deliver the White House to the Nation of Islam. Could be. These things are foggy and it is early.
The further and more dreadful implication is that there is only one loser in this scenario, and that loser is Hillary Clinton. Why has she been left out of the loop? One terrible implication: Sexism. Kos, Farrakhan, Romney, Huckabee, and Richard Cohen are conspiring with Barack Obama in a Fifth Column "Anything but Hillary" movement designed to deliver the White House to the Nation of Islam, for no other reason than that Hillary is female.
I can't tell you how tired I am of seeing all of this happen again and again and again. It's not rocket science to figure this stuff out. Anyone can do it.
All you need is a whole bunch of newspapers, some push pins, and this ball of yarn.
