Well it ain't pretty in the global markets today. In a matter of hours, the NYSE will open. We will find out what is going to happen here in New York, but one thing rings true. The economy is at risk: recession is looming, and overseas markets are taking an enormous hit. This will effect everything. For without a solid economy, the mighty United States loses its power.
I only got into financial news, stock trading, and company news less than a year ago. When I started to make a little more I thought about investing in some stocks that were bound to rise. And they did. I put most of my money in Apple. And I made some money on that, selling in November. I also enjoyed playing the market with other Tech stocks like RIMM, DELL, HPQ, VM Ware, etc. It was a fun time playing with only a few grand but learning as I went.
But now, people with REAL money are learning some very harsh lessons. It seems every other day some bank is writing off 10 Billion dollars due to mortgage debt.
Tomorrow could be a really bad day. Last week was bad (Thursday the Dow lost 300 points). So I thought of a new poll.
