Yesterday's South Carolina primary vote had 45% of the voting population so far. More than Iowa and New Hampshire combined. I'm keeping a tally of a tally of the total national popular vote for the primaries.
Results so far (IA+NH+NV+SC): Obama 46.36%, Clinton 32.68%, Edwards 18.74%
Yes, it's only 4 states so far, but everyone else is eagerly following results, so here I am too.
Yes, it's really about delegates, but I want it to be more about the direct popular vote, so I'm posting this to highlight those numbers.

As you can see from the above table, Clinton has benefitted from some roundoff error in the delegate apportionment process, and Obama has lost some to roundoff. Interesting, eh?
