If you watched CNN coverage of Obama's great victory last night...then even as an Obama supporter, you had to be astounded by the media bias.
First let's look at the cast.
Roland Martin, a black radio host based out of Chicago, who obviously is supporting Obama, unless he doesn't want anymore listerners
Then you some black Republican lady, who use to be Bill Frist's speechwriter, again no Clinton lover. She's not important, so I will not bother to look up her name.
Next Carl Bernstein, who just wrote a scathing biography about Hillary Clinton that didn't sell. So he hates the Clintons even more because let's face it Watergate is history, and he's not longer relevant.
Next we have Bill Bennett, who bashed the Clintons throught out the 90's because of morality, until it turned out he had a gambling problem. So he's mad because he got exposed as a hypocrite, plus he has to be nice to Obama...since he got in trouble with that "abort every black baby" comment.
Next we have Donna Brazille, architect of one the worse Presidential campaigns ever waged and just happens to be a black, southern lady. Who just happen to be "so proud that the first southern blah blah....
Next there's John King, a CNN reporter, who is still mad at Bill Clinton because Bill didn't answer some of his precious questions when he was President.
Next Gloria Burger...who writes for some news magazine. Who I guess felt like she had to join in the criticism...
Next Jeffrey Tobin. When did he become a political analyst. I could have sworn he was a legal expert. And believe me if you listen to his analyst, you would wished he had stayed with law.
Then the hosts Anderson Cooper and Wolf Blitzer. Yeah Mr. Anderson "the Republican who cares about the world" Cooper. What a phony.
Oh how could I forget the reporters covering the candidates. Suzanne Malveaux covering Barack and Candy Crowley covering Hillary. Is there a Democrat Candy Crowley likes.
Now to the show.
When the show started they acknowledged Obama had won. Then all of a sudden Hillary might finish 3rd. "Oh it will devastating for Hillary Clinton" to finish 3rd. "It will be embarassing for Hillary Clinton to finish 3rd". "SC rebuked Bill Clinton for his tactics". Then when the exit polls didn't back up that statement, no comment was made. Also when Hillary Clinton finished ahead of John Edwards by 9 points, you could almost see the disappointment in the room.
What was so funny and so obviously fake was to hear Bill Bennett and that Republican black lady, claim that Barack Obama is who Republicans fear. Bill Bennett could not even say it with a straight face.
CNN do me a favor, be professional. If you are going to ban Carville and Begala, don't overcompensate by having all Clinton haters. This is becoming sad.
Finally, at the end of the show, I guess sensing that they may have overdone it in praising Obama's victory, it took Gloria Burger and Jeffrey Tobin to remind the rest of their colleagues that is was just one state. Jeffrey even reminded the other people that 24% of the white vote is not a lot and Clinton will be hard to beat on Feb. 5th. What audacity!! We may not him anymore.
Overall what a sham of a show. Sure praise Obama for a hard fought victory, but don't make asses out of yourselves pretending that somehow the nomination is his to lose or that Hillary is somehow hanging on by a thread. You make yourself look foolish, lose whatever is left of your credibility and insult the intelligence of your viewers. Four states...2 each.
