While I'm still waiting to see if Gallup's daily tracker can confirm, it looks like another good day for Barack Obama according to Rasmussen's daily tracker. For two days straight Obama has maintained a statistical tie in the Rassmussen national daily tracking poll.
The last two nights of tracking were the first without John Edwards in the race. For those two nights, it’s Clinton 44% and Obama 42% meaning that Clinton’s support is essentially unchanged.
Rasmussen also notes that
This suggests that many former Edwards supporters now support Obama, many others have yet to make a decision, and few currently support Clinton.
Perhaps the huge shift of Edwards supports in the dailykos poll from Edwards to Obama is not so unique to just the blogosphere.
I will update this diary when the Gallup numbers come in.
Update: The 4-day average is Clinton 43 / Obama 37.
