The NY TIMES review today another side of the Iraq war, with more insight as to the hidden victims: the translators. The innumerable asset they provide our soldiers creates horror for them, as they are seen as traitors to the cause for fighting on the side of invasionaries.
I have mentioned, many times, how horrified I feel about the well being of the Iraqi civilians, and how lassiz fair we seem to be. Perhaps by actually seeing interactions for ourselves on the stage, we can discuss directly how we continue to betray those we so passionately believed we were serving.
