Just listening to MSNBC - as I'm sure many of you are - their Romney guy just said tomorrow will be a day of "frank discussions" with their camp. Norah O'Donnell (sp?) is talking about it now.
So... there appears to be a chance that Mittens will be dropping out. Perhaps doing so now would keep him viable for the race in 2012? This is clearly a man who wants to be president above all else.
Would Mitt dare tell his delegates to go support McCain? As much as they hate each other? I doubt it.
So, If Mittens drops out, what does this do to the race? Do Limbaugh et al., who hate McCain, reverse their stance on the 'liberal' (read: sorta cares about poor people, from a fundie perspective), and then support Huckabee? I tend to think they would, since he at least to care about the 'wedge issues' that the wingnut 20% care so much about. So... would most Romney voters go to Huckabee...thus giving JohnMc more fits?
Sorry for the short and rather unsubstantial diary. I think it is interesting to watch and talk about the implosion of the Republicans.
