Now that "Super Tuesday" has come and gone, I am looking forward to the general election, and I can see only one clear and concise winner in that all-important contest. Barack Obama is the candidate best suited to prevent the catastrophe that would be President Mccain and Vice President "Whoever".
Senator Barack Obama carried the reddest counties in the reddest of the Red States. He opposed the Iraq war from the start, and took a strong stand against it when it was neigh political suicide to do anything but back Bush and Cheney's drive to illegal invasion against a sovereign country that posed no threat to the security of our nation. He has raised the kind of money that any candidate, on either the Democratic or Republican side, could only dream of. I mean.... over four million dollars since polls closed on Feb. 5th!.
As a candidate, he has everything we as Democrats could want. He is smart. He is charismatic. He runs a tight, well organized and successful political operation. He is on the right side of the most pressing issues of the day, like the War, health care, labor issues, etc...etc...
On top of this, he has what our past two nominees for President have lacked. People all across the isle are willing to vote for this man. I have seen it with my own eyes. Die hard conservatives, die hard >independents, die hard liberals.... I guess most everyone except for the hard-core Ron Paul maniacs can all see themselves voting for Barack Obama.
