Hillary Clinton got another red state senator to endorse her run for President, from Senator Blanche Lincoln from Arkansas.

Sen. Lincoln was the youngest woman ever to be elected to the Senate when she was elected in 1998 at the age of 38, having previously served in the House of Representatives.
See below the fold for what Sen. Lincoln said in her endorsement and what it might mean and how the national media has been relatively silent about it.

Hillary and I have worked together on issues affecting children and families since we both went to Washington in 1993. She understands that by strengthening our working families, we are strengthening our nation. She is well equipped to lead our country through the economic difficulties that lie ahead.
I think this is great news for the HRC campaign, to get another red state senator. This can help build momentum after her Tuesday wins in heartland states (Arkansas, Tenessee, and Oklahoma). I think this underscores her strength in picking up swing states that helped propel Bill Clinton to two terms in the White House.
After a flood of endorsements for Obama, HRC has recently gotten Gov. Rendell (D-PA), Sen. Cantwell (D-WA) and now Sen. Lincoln. This should help boost her standing with the Democratic establishment, which will be important in the hunt for superdelegates.
Most notably, today the silence is deafening from the lamestream media. I heard nothing about this on CNN or MSNBC. I searched for this on the NY Times and Washington Post web sites and could not find a story about this. The news about the endorsement came out early in the day today, so there is really no excuse for why they won't cover this, other than the obvious bias reason. I remember how prominently the recent endorsements from Gov. Napolitano and Sen. McCaskill for Obama were reported in the national media.
