I don’t like writing diaries like this, but I must.
Yes, it is nice seeing Barack ahead in polling numbers, but how many times have these numbers been WRONG.
Um, let’s see. New Hampshire. Everyone was a hoopin' and a hollerin', about winning New Hampshire, because the polls said so. And the polls were WRONG. Clinton won the popular vote but the delegates were split evenly.
Then Nevada. Who in the hell knew what was going to happen there. Everyone said, "Oh, the Culinary Union Endorsed Obama and it is in the bag!!!" Well, we saw that show, again. Obama lost the popular vote, but won the delegate war. So, yes, technically it was a split win. Again, believing the manufactured hype.
Then Super/Tsunami Tuesday.
What more could be said. Polls were flying out of the you know where and folks believing it. Obama cannot win without California!!! He is ahead by 13 points, via the hideous Zogby!! He is going to win Massachusetts, and I never believed that one!! New Jersey is on FIRE for OBAMA!! Uh?? In Clinton’s backyard? Again, too skeptical.
What happened? He won none of those states, came close in delegate count and swept a lot more states and ended up winning the delegate count.
Folks, this is a DELEGATE RACE. Not the race for a checkmark, by the state. Even the stupid MSM has started to realize this. So, in stating this, we don’t know how this will pan out this weekend and for the Potomac Primaries on Tuesday.
I do know this. Work your asses off. Period. Stop believing these poll numbers. After all we have been through, why should this even have to be written?
I understand excitement. Yes, I do. But I understand practicality much more.
So, I am done with my kind reminder for everyone. I only like to add this, "Do your part for the campaign, donate to Barack, work the phones in these early contests, volunteer, etc."
Whatever you decide to do, just do it and leave the tea leaves in the wind and keep your eyes on the prize....for real....
