My 29th birthday is today (February 9). While it's always good to get the material things... this year I want something different. That's why I'm writing this.
I want a president who looks past the partisan divides, and brings everyone together regardless of political affiliation, background, or race.
I want a president who will from the first day he is nominated, he will be able to take a principled stand against this foolish war because he never supported it in the first place.
I want a president who fights for responsible taxation: one who gives the relief where it's truly needed -- the middle class -- not to those who don't.
I want a president that doesn't bring baggage of the past on day one: somebody who can give us a fresh start.
I want a president that understands that united we stand, divided we fall.
Friends, that president will be Barack Obama.
Thus, on this first day of my 29th year, I'm asking you this. With the fight so important, join with me today as we give our candidate the support he needs.
Consider today making a donation of $29. It would please me no more than to know on a day when I should be celebrating for myself, I did something to advance our cause.
Donate now by going here.
Even if you can't do $29, every little bit counts. This is the time when we dig deep, and understand this is not just an investment in our candidate, but in America's future.
If you cannot donate: I understand. Then go here. VOLUNTEER. Or here, make a call to an undecided voter.
The time is now!
Remember.. "what started as a whisper in Iowa is now a chorus that can't be ignored."
LETS DO THIS!!!!!
