Unable to write the hundredth article on how Barack Obama's failure to embrace health care mandates makes him the reincarnation of Ronald Reagan, Paul Krugman has chosen a new target for his most recent hit piece...me!
http://www.nytimes.com/...
I just have to say, wow!
You really have to be amazingly off to write an article next to William Kristol and not have his be the worst editorial in that day's paper.
Yet, Krugman's incessant Obama bashing has done just that.
You see, apparently because I'm part of a strong liberal movement that appeals to a broad swath of people, we're actually "dangerously close to becoming a cult of personality."
Yes, "dangerously" close.
(Is that "dangerously", as in when Obama takes control of the Politburo, his enemies will end up in Siberia? More likely, for Krugman, my support for Barack Obama is "dangerous" to his career, in that he has spent the past six months burning his bridge to the one candidate who could be the next great progressive President.)
Good thing Krugman has the decency to back up his accusations with substantiated proof. Oh wait, he doesn't...that's right, he just uses accusation and innuendo to imply that Obama supporters are "spewing venom".
He does provide this great quote of one of the supporters spewing venom:
PSYCHE!! Quotes are for suckers!!
And then he rehashes something about Whitewater. And Nixon. Which I guess was our fault too.
(Okay guys, who tipped him off that all of us Obama supporters were really working for Nixon in '72?)
