The level of bitterness and anger in Hillaryland is causing some concern.
I have trolled the internets and am growing uncomfortable with the vitriol I see heaped on Obama from Clinton loyalists. Come the fall, Obama will need every vote--and every dollar--to prevail.
A sample of the sentiment is available here.
The strident tone gives me pause: Will Obama be able to build a bridge back to these folks? I expected Hillary's support to be passionate, but I did not anticpate the notion that she and Obama are mutually exclusive: Ironically taking a page from GWB's book--"If your not with us..."
Obama has said he can get these people back on board, but I hope that those bridges haven't been burned. And...to be sure many of the comments (on this site and elsewhere) about Hillary can be pretty...harsh is too mild a term. I'm not the first to suggest we all tone it down a bit.
We share a common goal which we will acheive if we are united---try and keep that in mind before pressing "submit".
