I recently discovered something which actually makes tonight's electoral thumping even worse for Hillary than it appears at first glance.
This is from a recent Time article on Obama's momementum:
Still, Clinton is nowhere near being counted out: she has raised more than $10 million online since Super Tuesday, she still leads in most national polls and is making a big push to be competitive in Virginia, where her campaign has been headquartered for nearly a year.
Can this be true? Hillaryland HQ is in Virginia? In the state where the heart of her campaign apparatus is, the best result Hillary could pull off was to get crushed? This woman who is "in it to win it" and "knows how to beat the Republicans" can't even win the state where her national campaign headquarters has been for a year--can't even come close?
How can anyone believe that she would be the strongest candidate in the general election?
Tonight's result is a searing indictment of Hillary's claim to electability.
