Neither Sen. Clinton nor Sen. Obama have said anything (so far as I can tell) about the use of and more funding for technical/vocational/apprentice programs within our school systems to help teens (teens who are bored and have no desire to go to college) receive training in professions that will allow them to earn a good living and even own their own business. Not every job that allows one to support a family successfully requires a college degree. Nor does everyone belong at college.
I’d also like to see a bit more concerning funding for kids with learning disabilities like dyslexia and aspergers and the use of technology/accommodations to help these kids/young adults succeed in high school/college and go on to be adults who contribute to our society.
Of course in the end there are many personal "issues" we would all like to see addressed by the candidates. How about the use of industrial hemp and how it could save the planet? Do they still mourn the end of Firefly? Video games and violence? ~and they can only comment if they play~ How many times a day do they visit icanhascheesburger? Dogs or cats?
What would you like to hear from the candidates?
