Love seeing this. Great news from Wisconsin Senator Russ Feingold.

Sen. Russ Feingold said today that he voted for Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama in this week's Wisconsin primary and indicated that he likely will vote for Obama's nomination as one of the state's "superdelegates" to the Democratic convention this summer.
"I really do think that at the gut level, this is a chance to do something special" for the nation, Feingold said, adding that electing Obama represents "an enormous historical opportunity for America and for our relationship with the world."
Regarding the superdelegate business, he's all but in the bag for Obama.
. . . [W]hen it comes to selecting the nominee at this summer's convention, Feingold said, "I said I would be highly likely to vote for anybody who did very, very well in Wisconsin. And as I see it, somebody won 62 out of 72 counties [sic - Obama won 65 of 72 WI counties] and all the congressional districts. I'm highly likely to vote for that person."
Read the FULL STORY for more, including interesting comments by Feingold about John McCain as well as a potential running-mate for Obama should he win the nomination.
I happen to disagree that Hillary would make a good V-P choice, not because of qualifications but because of practical considerations (and there are several, one of which can be summed up as Bill Clinton).
George Mitchell, I hadn't thought of. That could be a great choice if Obama wins the nomination.
