The extreme frustration and dissapointment in her failing campaign was in evidence yesterday as an angry Hillary Clinton attacked Senator Obama for his recent mailings in Ohio.
But moments ago in Rhode Island she took her anger and desperation to new heights:
I'm sure the video will be up soon but in the meantime here's Hillary Clinton Sunday in Providence, Rhode Island 2:38PM Eastern:
"Some would say, let's get everybody together, let's get unified.
The sky will open. (Crowd laughs). The light will come down. Celestial choirs will be singing. And everyone will know we should do the right thing and the world will be perfect."
She was wearing her canary yellow outfit and was really hamming it up chanelling Kathryn Kuhlman as best she could. The performance was worthy of Joan Crawford in its over the top "Mommie Dearest" campiness and utter contempt for her opponent.
Suzanne Malveaux the host of CNN's Ballot Bowl quickly went to a stunned Bill Schneider in Texas to get his view:
"You just heard something remarkable from Senator Clinton a moment ago. She was actually mocking Senator Obama saying that he has this very unrealistic view that we are all going to be unified and the heaven's will open up and the light will shine down and somehow the world will be perfect."
I guess this will just motivate the Obama campaign to finish her off decisively on March 4th, and if any undecided superdelegates were watching Senator Clinton she may have just lost a lot of votes.
