Camp Obama has just succumbed to a week of brutal press cycles and there isn't a clear end in sight. It's going to be two negative stories to one positive until either Hillary concedes or Obama loses. I think we are going to wake up tomorrow and see that Hillary has regained momentum in the polls: which will only become a self perpetuating story of its own over the next two media cycles.
And, we are getting lazy. There has been a momentum shift, and perhaps the only (or at least the most surefire) way Obama can get it back is through regaining the fund raising edge that has proven so vital over the past two months. The number of new donors has slowed and its time for all of us to open our wallets, again. I just gave for the fourth time; we've come too far for this to fall apart now.

Update: I wanted to comment that I don't think the sky is falling. These negative news cycles -- many of them bogus -- are going to ultimately be good for the campaign. Obama needs to take shots now so that the electorate can become comfortable with voting for someone who isn't the golden boy before the Republican attack machine really gets moving. But Obama's numbers will suffer in the short run, and this short run is happening in what is perhaps the most inopportune moment, sans Super Tuesday, in the entire campaign.
