Now that the Democratic Party race is in complete disarray regarding the 2008 presidential election – it is not hard to see another party winning the election in November 2008.
- The Democratic Party disenfranchise Florida and Michigan of their voting rights.
- The Democratic Party experiment about gender vs. color of skin will result on a fight that it will go all the way to the convention floor - to be decided.
- The resulting split of democrats along the line of gender and color of skin – is opening a big crack for 3rd party candidates to also run for president in November of 2008.
- Ralph Nader is the first one to realize the opportunity that is available in 2008 for a 3rd party candidate, and I guess Michael Bloomberg can’t be far behind before he also announces that he is running for president.
- The Republican Party also is in trouble in 2008 – making it even more desirable for other 3rd party candidates to enter the race.

Conclusion:
Basically, the democrats are not smart enough to realize that at this point Al Gore is the only Democratic Party candidate who can win the election in November 2008.
I don’t need to wait for the results of the November 2008 election to figure that out – as a matter of fact you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to figure that out – all you need it is a little of common sense.
The Democratic Party is going to make history with this coming election, but it is not the kind of history that most people expect – to elect the first woman or the first black man as president of the United States.
The Democratic Party is going to make history, because it had everything going on its favor and they managed to lose the election because they based their campaign on wishful thinking (gender and color of skin) instead of going with a sure bet – Al Gore.
The 2008 presidential election is going to become a case study on how to lose an election that your party was supposed to win.
Florida and Michigan has become a fertile field for 3rd party candidates to start their campaigns since the Democratic Party disenfranchise the people on these states of their voting rights – and also the right of the people from these states to decide when they want to run their primaries.
If Michael Bloomberg also enters the presidential race in 2008 – it will add to a race that is becoming one of the most interesting presidential races in a long time.
*****
Reminder:
Ralph Nader did not cost Al Gore the presidential race in 2000.
A bad Democratic Party campaign compounded by a bad choice for a VP, Al Gore made a major mistake in distancing himself from Bill Clinton, and Al Gore made too much of a big deal about gun control a killer issue that made him lose millions of votes.
The people who blame Ralph Nader for Al Gore losing the presidency in 2000 - just want an easy scapegoat for the bad Democratic Party campaign and the backing up of wrong issues during that presidential race.

Which person do you want to vote for in the November 2008 election?
