Okay this is a big night for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), no matter how you look at it, and most of all she has shown she is a Democrat who can win in states we need to win, to recapture the White House in the fall. Outspent 2-1 in Ohio & 3-1 in Texas by Senator Barack Obama, Senator Clinton won the popular vote. In Ohio and Texas, unions that came out and endorsed Obama including the very critical S.E.I.U., Senator Clinton fought back and won.
When Senator Clinton won, I noticed she thanked those who worked for her, and helped her win. When Senator Obama conceded, he dared to compare Senator Clinton to Senator McCain. Talk about not being able to walk the walk after talking the talk. We do not need to alienate anyone. We are Democrats and we are even more important AMERICANS and we need to work together to beat Senator McCain.
We have heard a lot about grassroots. I credit Senator Obama for doing a great service for our nation by energizing and inspiring Americans. Also, I challenge those who read this to go to : http://www.hillaryspeaksforme.com/
This is a website where those in the grassroots say Senator Hillary Clinton speaks for them and she is a fighter too.
New Hampshire, Michigan, Nevada, Florida, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Arizona, California, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Ohio, and TEXAS!
Also, before we choose someone to face off against John McCain you have one candidate who is the most vetted, who fights for our issues, who has a proven record of accomplishment, who does not need on the job training, being Senator Hillary Clinton.
We also have Senator Barack Obama who needs to answer about his ties to Tony Rezcko. We also need to know why Senator Barack Obama does well in caucuses where Republicans can crossover, but in primaries, Hillary Clinton consistently wins. Finally, when it came time to concede, Senator Obama attacks Senator Clinton. Its a double standard.
This race is not over. Senator Hillary Clinton is a fighter. She's going to keep fighting so the voters in Florida and Michigan are not disenfranchised. You are going to see Senator Clinton fighting for the working families in America. You are going to see a fighter for the GLBT Community, Farmers, Hispanic Americans, Blue Collar Workers, and someone for over sixty years who has given a voice to the voiceless and been a fighter for the fights that need to be fought!
