This Diary is a fluff piece so feel free to crucify me with the usual "kos has gone to hell comments."
I’ve driven through Wyoming twice along highway I-80. The thing the sticks out the most in my mind is a grueling 400 mile drive with little to see but cattle, snow fences, and wind turbines. But Wyoming is a unique state and this year has an opportunity to play a very important role in the democratic election as you all know. Instead of focusing on Hillary or Barack, I am going to share a little bit about Wyoming that will hopefully make this state a bit more than a statistic on your delegate count.
Wyoming is one of the larger states in the country, ranked 10th overall with a square mileage totaling 97,818, yet is 50th in population less than 525,000 people overall. It is with a density of less than 6 people per square mile, only Alaska is more isolated than this state. And with over 1/10th of all people in Wyoming living in Cheyenne (a modest city of 55,000) you could walk for days in this state without ever meeting another living person.
The state motto of Wyoming is "Equal Rights" and although the state is primarily conservative Republican, it is also the proud first state anywhere to have women’s suffrage.
Beyond the usual statistics of income, taxes, home ownership, joblessness, etc. which can easily be found on Wikipedia, there is a wealth of natural beauty in Wyoming which I would like to share.
So without further ado . . . pictures!

Barack in Casper
Hillary in Laramie:
Wyoming has also done a remarkable job of providing relatively undisturbed habitat for the local wildlife and reintroduced wild populations of American Bison, Wolves, and Big Horn Sheep to name a few.
