I wandered over to RedState.com today and yesterday just to see what they thought of the loss of Denny Hastert's old seat. Shockingly, there was not a single entry about it going back to Saturday morning. It must be easier to ignore the big loss than to actively work towards winning it back this November (although I did see a KOS troll extolling the virtues of Olberweis this morning). But, I will say that RedState did have a diary posted that gave me a good idea - something that rarely happens. Good idea? From Redstate?.....
....It was posited that their readers take a little piece of the tax credit that we are to receive later in the year as part of the economic stimulus package, and donate it to a specific candidate (they are recommending some Georgia conservative). For those of us who can afford to do something similar for the candidate of your choice, it would be a great investment. The diarist at RedState recommended giving $250. If there isn't a local race that needs your tax credit $$, then I would send the cash to the presidential candidate of your choice (I say Barack Obama, but it's your money)!
Anyway, just a thought.
