So I'm sure many of you have noticed this, but I haven't seen anything on it at dailykos, so here goes. I'm at work, so this will be necessarily brief.
Over at Real Clear Politics, Pennsylvania Head-to-Head numbers, Senator Clinton is still well ahead in her race against Senator Obama.
However, the same exact polling organizations that have her a minimum of six points ahead of Obama have Obama beating McCain in the state (Obama +2% average), and Clinton losing to him (average McCain +.3%).
Though these margins are small at best, and the polls, though by the same polling agencies, were done on different dates, I believe this puts the lie to Senator Clinton's claim that her wins in the "big states" (a claim that other diarists and front-pagers have already thoroughly debunked) doesn't stand up even in those where she might indeed win the primary. I haven't had time to see if the same dynamic exists in any of the states that have already voted in the primary-- any additional information would be much appreciated.
