Ah, College Basketball and March. I love this time of year, the excitement and anticipation of what's to come. And as a Tarheel the expectations tend to be higher. And considering they are currently ranked No. 1, those expectations are even higher still. Tough life.
Mojo Friday has engaged in it's own March Madness. Through the perseverance of some of your hardy fellow MF'ers Mojo Friday has attain the status of No.1 of all time diaries with the most comments. At the time of this posting the count was 3209. If you want to see where we rank look here.
Another thing that has happened for the second week in a row is the comments came all week long. Ten to fifteen MF'ers have used it as a combination delayed IM, open thread and a continued safe haven from the candidiaries. Join us this week.
As the various conferences work their way through their tournaments we don't know what the final line up for the NCAA Tournament will be. Will the No.1 seeds be UNC, Memphis, UCLA and Tennessee or will Duke slip in if Tennessee falters? Which team will become this years Cinderella? Don't worry, CBS will let you know as soon as they decide.
Now that brings up another thing what the hell is CBS a single channel network still doing covering the NCAA? I want NBC or ABC. NBC can cover the NCAA with NBC, CNBC, MSNBC and USA Network. ABC can cover with ABC and about 30 ESPN channels. Why are we stuck with this one channel dinosaur? Give me more channels for my NCAA.
Okay basketball rant over, on with the show.
Before we jump to the goals and guidelines I want to emphasize The Mojo Friday Post Game Show by goffnews. If you haven't gone there before, you need to go just to see where you rank in the amount of mojo you've handed out. Goffnews launches around 4:30 PM EDT.
Mojo Friday Guidelines
1. If you comment you have to recommend all comments. (in order to recieve mojo you have to give mojo. It's only good mojo manners.)
2. Everything you say may be taken as a joke (so if you ask a question, expect a silly answer)
3. You must recommend the diary (and pimp it unapologetically)
4. You don't have to comment to recommend.
5. You can't steal my idea (right, like that ain't goin' to happen)
6. Please, no pictures or YouTubes until after 300 comments
7. Mojo mojo mojo mojo, mojo mojo mojo
