The Nebraska Senate Race is heating up and Scott Kleeb needs your help!

394 Supporters -- $91,134 Raised

That amounts to almost $17,000 in a little over 24 hours. This puts Scott Kleeb on his way to breaking the $25,000 mark by Monday night!

Help us red state Democrats out with a donation of $25, $50, $100, $250 or anything you can spare. Small donors should own this campaign -- we need you!

I've been writing for weeks about how important this Senate race is. Not only so that the Democratic Party can achieve the 60 Vote Majority, but for the future of the Nebraska Democratic Party.

I am committed to spreading the progressive message in Nebraska. But it can not, and will not get done without your help. The netroots stood up for Nebraska before...we need you to do it again!

Scott sent a message to supporters about four hours ago:

You’ve already hit the $11,000.00 mark.  Incredible!  Your support will help us spread our message of change across Nebraska.

Please help to keep the fire burning.  Your contribution of $25, $50, $100, $250 or more will greatly increase our ability to unite all Nebraskans.

Voters need to hear much more about our campaign.  They need to know that we’ve united ranchers and environmentalists, young people and seniors, and Democrats, Independents, and Republicans.

They need to know that there’s a candidate in this race who knows how hard it is to raise a family on a tight budget.  They need to know that newspapers across Nebraska endorsed us during our historic 2006 congressional run.

We can win this race.  With your help, we will win this race.

Let’s keep the fire burning!

- Scott Kleeb

Nebraskans are ready for something different. They are looking at the GOP candidates and saying not this time, not this year. Nebraskans are ready for change.

But we need your help.

Raimondo (Scott's "Democratic" Primary Opponent) is very wealthy. He plans to write himself a $500,000 check to flood the media markets in Omaha and Lincoln. Johanns, the presumptive Republican nominee, has already raised over a million dollars with the help of George Bush. We have to make sure Scott, a people powered candidate, can keep up!

Donate, and help boost Scott Kleeb's campaign!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
